Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia Rosaly, is the Spanish singer from flamenco. Since her teenage years the singer has been involved in popular music and flamenco. She also explores various genres, including hip-hop soul and Trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and famous musician has described the sound of the young singer as sassy and sweet but with bite. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial hit. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and received the Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. It featured collaborations with fellow artists and producers, including Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set began to be released in conjunction with Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer to sing as a solo performer on the show. Motomami's Rosalia, who won The Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first female to win one.
